Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Melbourne seeks a Regional Quality Team Leader to oversee quality governance, risk and compliance across multiple care communities. You will collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to drive accreditation readiness and improve clinical outcomes.

The role requires a nursing qualification with AHPRA registration, 3+ years experience in nursing or healthcare quality, infection prevention expertise, auditing experience, strong analytics, and stakeholder coaching skills.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
Minimum 3 years' experience in nursing, quality, risk, compliance or healthcare management.
Strong clinical knowledge of the aged care sector and infection prevention/control.
Auditing against the Aged Care Quality Standards is highly regarded.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and coaching capabilities.
Passion for clinical excellence and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Strengthen governance, improve quality outcomes and manage risk across care communities.
Support accreditation readiness and monitor quality indicators.
Provide expert guidance to operational and clinical leaders.
Educate, coach and collaborate to drive improvement initiatives.
