Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Senior Solutions Development Architect to lead transformation for Service Providers across APJ, shaping solutions for IP routing, optical transport, automation and network assurance. You will engage with senior technology leaders and translate their challenges into practical strategies and roadmaps.

This role spans strategic and technical domains, collaborating with Cisco Sales, CX, delivery teams, SI partners and technology partners to deliver end-to-end transformation

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing or transforming large-scale service provider or telecommunications networks.
• Deep expertise in IP routing, optical transport or both.
• Experience engaging senior customer stakeholders and translating technical challenges into business outcomes.
• Strong consulting, architecture and solution-development skills.
• Experience working across complex, multi-vendor or multi-country environments.
• Ability to move between executive conversations, architecture discussions and technical delivery teams.
• Interest in automation, observability and the future of AI-enabled network operations.

Responsibilities

• Shape customer transformation across the entire lifecycle.
• Engage senior technology leaders to understand priorities and transformation objectives.
• Help customers develop practical roadmaps for modernising transport networks.
• Connect technology decisions to business outcomes such as cost reduction and reliability.
• Build trusted relationships as a strategic technology advisor to Service Provider customers.
• Lead solution strategy across CX Professional Services in routing, transport, automation and observability.
• Apply Cisco architectures to solve complex customer challenges.
• Identify opportunities to simplify networks and reduce operational complexity.
• Work with Sales and customers to develop compelling solutions and support RFI/RFP activity.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer adoption and transformation journeys.
