Decipher Bureau is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer in Canberra. You will own end-to-end delivery for complex network security solutions, spanning LAN, WAN, SASE, SD-WAN, NGFW, and data centers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, senior-level networking experience.
• Integrator background preferred; delivered across multiple clients/environments.
• NV1 clearance preferred (or baseline considered).
• Strong in at least 1–2 core vendor technologies (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, Cloudflare).

Responsibilities

• Own the full delivery lifecycle: HLD, LLD, implementation, and handover for complex network security solutions.
• Work hands-on across LAN, WAN, SASE, SD-WAN, NGFW, and data centre environments.
• Partner with vendor technologies including Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, and Cloudflare.
• Provide expert technical guidance to clients, translating requirements into robust solutions.
• Operate as an independent contributor on complex projects while sharing knowledge with the team.
