Job summary

VIS Global Pty Ltd is seeking an IP Network Engineer to design, implement, and support large-scale IP networks across telecoms and enterprises. You will work with customers and delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.

The role requires strong routing, switching, and high-availability skills, plus experience with data centre networking (Cisco ACI, EVPN-VXLAN) and security platforms. Excellent communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with IP networking technologies and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6).
• Design, implement, and support carrier-grade or mobile core IP networks.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, redundancy, and high-availability architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with business teams.
• Experience in customer-facing consulting or managed services.
• Data centre networking with Cisco ACI and EVPN-VXLAN.
• Enterprise security platforms such as Fortinet, Check Point, F5 experience.
• Exposure to network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, NetBox).
• Knowledge of cloud networking across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with telecom operational environments and best practices.
• Strong IP/MPLS design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced BGP knowledge in carrier/enterprise contexts.

Responsibilities

As an IP Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale IP networking solutions across telecommunications and enterprise environments. Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of IP networking technologies and routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and IPv4/IPv6.

• Additional certifications such as CCNA,CCDP,CCNP, JNCIP/JNCIE, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent will be considered advantageous.
