Job summary

Bluefin Resources is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Sydney to take ownership of important engineering work within a large, complex technology environment. You will influence technical direction, grow into Tech Lead or Staff Engineer roles, and build enterprise-scale, real-time systems.

You will design and implement scalable applications using C#/.NET and Azure, develop robust APIs, and ensure data models and performance for SQL databases.

Qualifications

• Strong C#/.NET experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience building scalable, cloud-native, event-driven systems.
• Solid SQL database design and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Azure.
• Develop APIs and services with a focus on quality, reliability and maintainability.
• Work with SQL databases, including data modelling and performance.
• Build and support cloud-native, event-driven systems.
• Work with technologies such as Azure Service Bus and Event Hub.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions.
• Work within Agile delivery practices, including planning, code reviews and continuous delivery.
• Take increasing ownership of technical problems and their solutions.
• Help uplift engineering practices and capability across the team.
