Job summary

Thinkstream is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support sustainment, enhancement and delivery of critical ICT systems for a Federal Government client. You will work in Agile teams and manage multiple high-priority work items with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of .NET development experience, strong Vue.js skills for on-premises and cloud deployments, and a focus on security aligned with OWASP. APS environment experience is advantageous.

Role Description

Thinkstream is seeking Senior .NET Developers to support the ongoing sustainment, enhancement and delivery of critical ICT systems and priority initiatives for a Federal Government client. We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive candidates with 5+ years of .NET development experience who can effectively manage multiple high-priority work items simultaneously. The successful candidates will have a proven record of development achievement in Agile teams and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments. Experience and knowledge in leading ICT technical teams may be an advantage.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Multiple years of Microsoft .NET experience doing full stack development.
• Proven experience designing and developing in Vue JS/.NET on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of securing applications to meet the least privilege principle, including familiarity with the Cyber Security ISM and OWASP.
• Demonstrated experience developing web applications with modern reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, particularly Vue JS.
• Experience establishing and managing software repositories and developing CI/CD pipelines to deploy software.
• Strong understanding of Azure DevOps processes and task governance.
• 5+ years of .NET development experience, preferably with experience in an APS environment.

• Proven critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead solution design.
• Ability to work under pressure, deliver business outcomes and work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience working as part of an Agile delivery team, including the flexibility to work as a multidisciplinary team member.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical teams to provide quality ICT services.
• An innovative approach and ability to work effectively in an environment of rapid change and continuous improvement.
