Job summary

IT Alliance Australia seeks a Principal Software Engineer-EL2 for Canberra, onsite. Candidates must hold an NV2 security clearance and be available for a 24-month extension term. The role focuses on designing Angular front-ends and .NET Core APIs, with SQL Server maintenance and CI/CD using Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.

You will be a technical escalation point, mentor peers, and ensure quality through reviews, tests, and documentation while supporting operations on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Senior .NET Developer in an enterprise environment (C#, EF, EF Core, ASP.NET Core).
• Experience building modern SPAs with Angular, TypeScript, CSS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web UI with Angular.
• Maintain .NET Core Web API server apps.
• Maintain SQL Server databases underpinning applications.
• Be a technical escalation point for complex issues.
• Write integration and unit tests.
• Collaborate with .NET and Angular teams, BAs and testers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
