Job summary

Deloitte Engineering in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and deliver MuleSoft-based integration solutions. You will build API-led integrations, apply best practices in security and reliability, and collaborate with architects, analysts and client teams to align delivery with enterprise strategies.

You will work across the delivery lifecycle, from requirements through testing and deployment, mentoring less experienced engineers and contributing to solution shaping and estimates.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and delivering integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API-led connectivity and API design.
• Practical knowledge of DataWeave, Anypoint Studio, API Manager and Runtime Manager.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (e.g., MUnit) and containerisation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and secure integration practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver API-led integrations on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Work with architects, product owners and analysts to align delivery with enterprise strategies.
• Build, test and deploy Mule applications; participate in design and code reviews.
• Contribute to estimates, proposals and solution shaping; mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure security, reliability and performance of integrations and APIs.
