Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Senior Postie to start early in the morning, sorting mail and parcels, and delivering across multiple rounds in a territory. You will use multiple vehicle types and be mentored to develop professional skills.

The role requires a full or probationary motorcycle licence, resilience under high volume, and flexibility to work extra hours. Training and safety are emphasised, with a supportive team behind every delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Delivery experience advantageous but not mandatory.
• Able to adapt to high volume and pressure.
• Flexible with working additional hours if required.
• Must pass mandatory and practical riding assessment.
• Lift up to 16 kg regularly and meet safe working load of 100 kg or less.

Responsibilities

• Start your day early with sorting mail and small parcels.
• Cover and deliver to multiple rounds within a territory.
• Complete a daily vehicle safety check.
• Load your vehicle with deliveries for the day.
• Deliver outdoors in all weather to homes/businesses.
• Paired with Rider Mentors for development.
