Big wheel tyres and mechanical repairs is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, service and repair light vehicles across a range of makes and models. You will use diagnostic tools, service information and manufacturer specifications to identify faults and perform comprehensive inspections and log-book servicing.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, automotive trade qualifications and strong problem-solving, with a focus on safety, teamwork and quality

Formación

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic & Tyre Technician.
• Automotive trade qualification and certificates.
• Experience managing and training apprentices.
• Pink Slip Certificate.
• EV Certificate.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair light motor vehicles across a range of makes and models.
• Carry out comprehensive mechanical inspections and diagnostic assessments.
• Use service information, manuals and diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Perform scheduled log-book servicing per manufacturer specifications.
• Test and verify repairs with road tests and performance checks.
• Maintain workshop records and communicate results to customers.
