Job summary

Fleetwood Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our NSW-based construction team, overseeing end-to-end delivery of modular projects from award to handover. You will coordinate clients, consultants and subcontractors while maintaining strong commercial, safety and operational performance.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in project management within construction, with a track record in managing budgets, schedules and procurement in a Tier 1/2 environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects, ideally within Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract administration.
• Experience developing and managing project programmes using Microsoft Project.
• Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience contributing to tender submissions, delivery planning and project risk assessment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• A relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline. Trade-qualified candidates will also be considered.
• Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.
• Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.
• Experience within modular construction will be highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance project outcomes with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects from award through to handover and close-out.
• Develop, manage and maintain project programmes and milestones using Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project performance against scope, budget, programme, quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, cost control and financial reporting.
• Review contracts, drawings and project documentation to identify risks, opportunities and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant, materials and project resources to achieve programme objectives.
• Manage contractual obligations and subcontractor agreements in conjunction with the Contract Administrator.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and company requirements.
• Provide accurate project reporting including financial performance, programme status, risks and key milestones.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to tender and bid activities through programme development, delivery methodology planning, resourcing and risk assessment.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with Fleetwood's WHSEQ standards, policies and procedures.
• Support procurement activities and resource planning to meet project delivery requirements.
• Drive quality outcomes, defect management, handover activities and project close-out requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive safety culture across all project activities.
