Job summary

Noosa Radiology on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Sonographer to step into Modality Lead – Sonography. You will drive clinical leadership, protocol development and quality across the sonography service while maintaining high standards of image quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Accredited postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
• Current ASAR registration is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience across a broad range of ultrasound examinations.
• Strong attention to detail and clinical standards.
• Ability to provide clinical guidance and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sonography protocols, SOPs and clinical standards.
• Provide clinical and technical support to sonography staff.
• Oversee ultrasound equipment performance and QA processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, training and professional development.
• Monitor compliance with accreditation requirements and quality audits.
• Maintain QA, equipment, incident and compliance records.
• Liaise with radiologists on protocols and image quality.
• Support rostering, clinical meetings and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to equipment procurement and service planning.
