The role focuses on short & mid-term planning, production reporting, and contractor oversight, with additional exposure to long-term planning and financial modelling.

The Appointment

• Oversee the pit to power station coal process, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Support both the internal mine production team and external contractors.
• Review and reconcile weekly contractor plans, identifying areas of success and improvement.
• Capture, analyse, and forecast operational data to drive informed decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with contractors to enhance performance and outcomes.
• Engage directly in the pit daily to ensure effective communication and oversight.
• Contribute to general project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
