Northern Star Resources is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to lead an underground team at Mt Charlotte, Kalgoorlie, with FIFO or residential options. The role oversees scheduling, drill & blast, and graduate engineers to drive safe production and plan execution.
Experience with Sub Level Stoping, Avoca methods, and Power BI is preferred, along with a First Class Mine Managers Certificate and WA driver’s licence. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

We are seeking a strong Senior Mining Engineer to join our underground team at the historic Mt Charlotte Underground mine located at KCGM, Kalgoorlie.
This challenging and dynamic role will enable an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to lead a technical team of scheduling, drill and blast and graduate engineers, driving safe production from the operational team. Northern Star Resources has breathed life back into Mt Charlotte increasing the reserve base to over 1M ounces. There are multiple mining methods, Modified Avoca, Narrow Vein Open Stoping, Bulk Open Stoping and Sub level caving to sink your teeth into. The asset is continuing to grow which is the ideal time for a candidate to join who also wants to grow their career.
Our Kalgoorlie Production Centre includes KCGM, Carosue Dam and Kalgoirlle Operations (Kanowna Belle and South Kalgoirlle), bringing together a portfolio of established assets within one of Australia's most recognised mining regions. Supported by a strong residential workforce and longstanding mining history, the centre offers the opportunity to contribute across a large-scale operational environment within the Goldfields region.
