Job summary

Perilya Limited in Broken Hill seeks an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead underground and surface mine surveying, delivering accurate plans and compliant survey outputs for safe, efficient operations.

You will manage survey control networks, support mine planning and geology teams, supervise survey staff and contractors, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring NSW regulatory compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Underground mining surveying experience.
• Strong engagement with stakeholders and teams.
• Good written and verbal communication in a mining context.

Responsibilities

• Manage all underground and surface mine survey activities.
• Maintain accurate survey control networks and mine plans.
• Produce statutory plans and ensure NSW compliance.
• Conduct development, production, and infrastructure surveys.
• Provide survey support to mine planning, geology, and operations.
• Manage survey data, reporting, and spatial databases.
• Oversee survey equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Mentor survey personnel and contractors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
