Qualifications

  • Educational background in Physics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience designing and executing tests for inertial sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes).
  • Experience developing new sensors (MEMS, FOG or related tech).
  • Deep understanding of INS and sensor impact on navigation performance.
  • Proficiency in advanced sensor calibration methods.
  • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to R&D of novel, internally-developed sensor technologies.
  • Provide expert guidance on sensor properties for inertial navigation systems.
  • Develop and implement advanced sensor calibration techniques to optimise performance.
  • Lead testing, characterisation, and selection of third-party inertial sensors.
  • Analyze test data to identify performance limitations and improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors across product ranges.
