Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our Adelaide-based team delivering water utilities projects across Australia. You will apply first principles to develop accurate estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure, engaging with subcontractors and designers to gather data.

In this tier 1 environment you will build robust tender prices, follow our estimating processes, and partner with senior management to support governance and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Estimator in a tier 1 environment.
• Experience pricing Water / Waste Water projects.
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
• Ability to develop estimates from first principles.
• Knowledge of operating & maintenance cost estimation is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate estimates for water utilities projects.
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Engage with stakeholders including subcontractors and designers.
• Research labour costs, materials, production times and data.
• Follow estimating processes for governance and tender pricing.
