Job summary

CGC Recruitment represents an Australian-owned HVAC and mechanical services contractor seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead building services design across commercial, residential, mixed-use, education and student accommodation projects. The role involves managing projects from concept through to construction and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.

The position is office-based with no site work, offers up to $140k plus super, an immediate start, and a busy, diverse project

Qualifications

• Proven contractor or consultancy side engineering experience in mechanical building services.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and local authority approvals.
• Confident project coordinator and client manager.
• A design-heavy background is preferred but not essential for the right person.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and HVAC building services design across commercial, residential, mixed-use, education and student accommodation projects.
• Manage projects from concept through to construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attend client and design meetings and manage key client relationships.
• Produce high-quality engineering documentation.
• The role is fully office based, with no site work required.
