Your Role:

As the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our brand vision and marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement and growth across all channels. Your role will be the Go-to-Market (GTM) leader developing integrated, creative and data-driven marketing campaigns. You will need to be able to work strategically, while still getting your hands dirty with day-to-day activities such as copy writing and website updates. As a key role within the organisation, you’ll need to manage multiple priorities as well as engage and influence stakeholders across teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of the marketing activities including creative development, paid media execution and performance tracking to meet business goals and targets.
  • Develop and execution on our direct marketing acquisition and retention strategy including integration with our including mandatory member service communications.
  • Manage digital channel lead optimisation.
  • Oversee brand positioning to ensure a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute on our internal and external communications strategy to increase employee engagement and brand awareness.
  • Develop and execute our social media strategy including content development and engagement monitoring.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform activities.
  • Champion member-centric led decision making and collaboration across teams.

About You:

  • 5-10 years in similar roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Solid understanding of the advertising requirements within the regulated financial services environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience developing and implementing direct marketing acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Solid understanding of digital channels including website, paid media and social media.
  • Experience managing internet banking / mobile banking platforms ideal.
  • Advanced communication skills (written/verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Deadline and results driven.
  • Experience leading and engaging high-performing teams.
  • Some knowledge of the military would be advantageous.
