Job summary

Sedgman, a leader in minerals processing, seeks a Senior Market Analyst to support growth and diversification across APAC and global markets. You will work with stakeholders and leverage market intelligence to inform strategic plans and identify opportunities.

You’ll use Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools and external data sources to deliver reports and insights for executive decision-making, with a strong emphasis on commercial awareness and analytical rigor.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy, market intelligence, consulting, advisory or commercial roles that support business decision-making.
• A strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the factors that drive business performance, investment and expansion.
• Confidence working with data, financial information and analytical tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market, competitor and project pipeline data to identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends.
• Engage with regional and sector leaders to support strategic business priorities and growth initiatives.
• Deliver reports, presentations and insights that support executive decision-making and business development activities.
• Manage external research subscriptions and data sources, helping teams maximise the value of available information.
• Monitor competitor activity, industry developments, economic drivers and policy changes across key markets.
• Contribute to regional and global planning activities through targeted research, reporting and commercial insights.
