Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced maritime and coastal engineer to support planning, design, delivery and asset management across major projects in NSW. You will work with project teams, consultants and regulators to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective outcomes.

Successful applicants will have civil/structural engineering qualifications, coastal/maritime project delivery experience, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Hybrid work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven design and delivery experience in coastal/maritime transport projects.
• Knowledge of maritime materials, construction techniques and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist maritime and coastal engineering advice across planning, design, delivery and asset management.
• Review designs for compliance with standards, requirements and safety.
• Coordinate governance, reviews and approvals with authorities and stakeholders.
