Key Responsibilities

  • Own performance tracking against targets, proactively identifying early risks and growth opportunities to optimise commercial outcomes.
  • Shape subscription propositions and pricing architecture to drive subscriber retention, boost engagement, and increase Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
  • Support annual budgeting processes to maintain clear commercial visibility.
  • Scope and deploy targeted lifecycle communications and digital adoption initiatives to accelerate app/web activation and reduce churn.
  • Utilise analytics, customer research, global best practices, and AI tools to inform data-driven decisions and establish operational efficiencies.
  • Lead cross functional project teams and build trusted relationships with editorial, marketing, and publishing leaders to align key priorities.
  • Guide, mentor, and build a high-performing team (including direct report management) focused on shared commercial accountability.
Who are you?
  • 8+ years of experience in subscription management, commercial strategy, lifecycle/value management, or performance optimisation.
  • Demonstrated success in media, digital consumer products, app store ecosystems, or recurring-revenue business models.
  • Strong ability to analyse data, and translate commercial insights into strategic growth plans.
  • Ability to present complex ideas persuasively to executive stakeholders and collaborate effectively with editorial and cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at shaping value propositions, briefing and reviewing creative assets for brand and commercial impact, and experimenting with new growth avenues.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments undergoing continuous transformation with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Enthusiastic about leveraging new technologies and modeling the use of AI to drive capability and efficiency gains.
  • Tertiary degree in business, marketing, commerce, or equivalent real-world experience.
