Job summary

DHL Express Australia is seeking an experienced Corporate Security Leader to drive risk management and resilience across Australia and Papua New Guinea. You will lead security strategies, oversee compliance programs and advise senior leadership on risk matters to protect people, assets and information.

In this role you will engage with government, regulators and industry bodies, manage crises and continuity plans, and foster a proactive security culture through training and technology.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Corporate Security – Essential
• 5+ years experience in an aviation security regulated environment – Essential
• Diploma of Security Risk Management – Essential
• Knowledge of SOCI (Security of Critical Infrastructure Act) – Desirable
• Demonstrated experience in risk management, investigations, crisis management, and incident response management

Responsibilities

• Lead DHL Express Australia and Papua New Guinea’s security and resilience strategy, protecting people, customers, shipments, assets and information across the business
• Oversee security risk, compliance and assurance programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, global standards and the evolving threat landscape
• Provide expert security advice to senior leaders and the Board of Directors, while managing relationships with government, regulators, law enforcement and industry bodies
• Lead crisis management, business continuity and organisational resilience, ensuring plans are current, tested and effective in responding to major disruptions
• Drive a strong security culture through training, awareness, technology, continuous improvement and effective management of security infrastructure and key suppliers
• This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday during business hours, flexibility with hours during peak times may be required
