Job summary

FedEx Australia is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to lead investigations, manage security risks, and advise senior leaders across our national network. The role partners with operational leaders, government agencies and third-party security providers to elevate security outcomes.

You will oversee investigations, loss prevention, security compliance, risk management, vendor management and stakeholder engagement, driving security programs with a focus on continuous improvement and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Law Enforcement, Corporate Security, Aviation Security, Military or a related field.
• Availability for regular national and international travel.
• Experience conducting complex investigations and managing security incidents.
• Strong risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with senior leaders and external agencies.
• Sound judgement and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on delivering business outcomes.

What You Bring

We're looking for a security professional who can confidently operate in a complex operational environment and influence outcomes through expertise, credibility and strong stakeholder relationships.
