Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Sydney seeks a Manager/Senior Manager for Private Clients Corporate Tax to lead advisory engagements and develop client relationships. The role is hybrid and based in Warrang – Sydney, with flexible hours possible.

You will work with entrepreneurs, private equity-backed corporates and founder-led businesses, delivering strategic tax planning and post-deal taxation services while guiding and developing junior staff and collaborating with partners to grow

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate Tax Advisory and Corporate Tax Compliance, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business consulting environment
• Tax technical knowledge relevant to trusts and private companies
• Experience in managing junior staff and their development
• Ability to build strong and lasting business relationships
• First-class numerical and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax advisory services, including advice on Australian tax laws, strategic tax planning and structuring for inbound and outbound groups, and post-deal taxation services for acquired corporates
• Offer guidance on tax corporate governance policies and processes, and review corporate income tax returns
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing the delivery of tax services and building strong client relationships through effective communication and engagement
• Collaborate with Partners to execute market development initiatives and drive business growth
