Job summary

The Shire of Broome is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Major Projects to lead planning, procurement and governance of the Council's major capital works. Reporting to the Director Infrastructure, you will deliver significant infrastructure projects on time, within budget and to approved quality standards.

You will have substantial project management experience on complex infrastructure programs, tertiary qualifications in project management or engineering, and formal PM certification.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience on complex infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management or related discipline; formal PM certification.
• Strong contract administration, problem solving and budget management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, procurement, delivery and governance of major capital works and strategic infrastructure projects.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Report to the Director Infrastructure and manage governance across projects.
