Job summary

EY in Australia seeks a Manager or Senior Manager to lead global Statutory Reporting within Global Compliance and Reporting. You will drive data gathering, GAAP bridging and statutory financial statement prep for multi-country engagements, developing relationships with key clients and identifying process improvements.

This hybrid role is based in Australia with flexible arrangements and opportunities to work across borders.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with extensive professional audit/accounting experience, ideally with global clients.
• IFRS and/or US-GAAP knowledge.
• Ability to distill complex concepts into simple messages.
• Extensive accounting experience in finance operations or accounting roles in a professional services firm.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills for client engagements.
• Track record of leading successful pursuits and managing large international teams.
• Analytical acumen to interpret complex financial data and drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support pursuits and be the point of contact for Global Clients for a centrally driven financial statement process.
• Lead and manage a team delivering statutory reporting, including statutory financial statement preparation and GAAP Bridging.
• Collaborate with clients to understand challenges and identify opportunities to improve financial operations and add value.
