Job summary

Aristocrat, a leading global gaming content and technology company, seeks a Senior Manager, Corporate Media to shape our corporate narrative across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. You’ll advise senior leaders, manage key media relationships and guide proactive and reactive campaigns to protect Aristocrat’s reputation.

You’ll lead crisis communications, develop dashboards to review KPI across major initiatives, and coordinate global PR programs that align with business goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, corporate affairs, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a senior media/PR role with a track record of delivering campaigns.
• Experience leading crisis communications and handling complex media issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with public-facing presentation skills.

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Media to help shape Aristocrat's corporate reputation across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the VP, External Communications, you’ll play a critical role in developing our corporate narrative, managing key media relationships, advising senior leaders, and navigating complex communications opportunities and challenges. What You’ll Do

• Assist the VP External Communications in crafting and delivering a corporate media relations strategy aligned with our business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Steering Committee (ESC) and other senior leaders.
• Provide critical communications advice to key leaders to improve our corporate reputation and foster strong employee engagement.
• Lead crisis communications preparedness, frameworks, and assist in scenario planning development.
• Manage media monitoring to ensure timely and accurate tracking of media coverage.
• Build and maintain strong media relationships to improve Aristocrat’s reputation.
• Successfully implement reactive and proactive media management strategies to improve media coverage.
• Serve as the company’s spokesperson, confidently presenting Aristocrat’s messages to various media outlets.
• Build a compelling company narrative and coordinate and implement seamless global PR campaigns that align with our business objectives.
• Develop strong working relationships with key media representatives.
• Develop and update dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators across major projects and initiatives.
• Track and communicate high-priority initiatives for the ESC, identifying any risks or challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, corporate affairs, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in developing and delivering media and public relations campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience leading crisis communications and complex media issues.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of representing the company publicly.
• Proven experience managing effective international PR campaigns.
• Solid understanding of financial earnings requirements for public companies.
• Expertise on different social networks, including LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook), and Instagram.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast-paced global organization with high personal integrity and a strong team-oriented approach.
• Confidence in presenting new ideas, public speaking, and influencing business collaborators effectively.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and multiple projects with high attention to detail.
• Excellent collaborator engagement skills and experience in event planning and vendor management.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft365 Office Suite of applications.
