Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Manager Communication & Engagement to lead strategic community engagement and stakeholder communication activities across a nationally significant infrastructure program.

Qualifications

10+ years in community engagement or public affairs leadership.
Proven ability to deliver engagement strategies for infrastructure projects.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Experience navigating politically sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of comms and community engagement strategies per project objectives.
Manage sensitive stakeholder matters and guide teams through complex community issues.
Represent the program in stakeholder meetings and public engagements.
Monitor risks, collect data, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
Mentor and develop a high-performing engagement team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and governance standards.
Support procurement and administrative activities as required.
