Job summary

People2people is partnering with an established boutique accounting practice in West Perth to recruit a Senior Manager / Business Services Manager. This hands-on leadership role focuses on managing large, high-net-worth client groups while mentoring a team of local and offshore accountants.

The role offers a genuine long-term pathway to Partnership and a base with up to $150,000 plus super, in a full-time, on-site West Perth setting.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large and high-net-worth private client groups.

Senior Manager / Business Services Manager

West Perth | Up to $150,000 + super | Pathway to Partnership

People2people is partnering with an established boutique accounting practice in West Perth to recruit an experienced Senior Manager / Business Services Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership position for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys managing client relationships, developing people and providing practical business advice—not simply reviewing numbers.

The successful candidate will manage a high-quality portfolio of private wealth, family and investment client groups while leading a team of local and offshore accountants. For someone with the right capability and ambition, there is a genuine long-term opportunity to progress to Partnership as part of the firm’s succession planning.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of large and high-net-worth private client groups
• Acting as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for clients
• Providing taxation, accounting and commercial business advice
• Reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work
• Remaining hands-on with complex client matters and technical issues
• Leading, mentoring and developing local and offshore accountants
• Managing workflow, deadlines and quality standards across the team
• Working closely with the Partners on client strategy and firm initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients
• Contributing to the firm’s continued growth and succession planning

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Strong Australian public practice experience
• Current experience at Manager or Senior Manager level
• Experience managing large, complex and high-net-worth client groups
• Strong taxation, accounting and business advisory knowledge
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management capability
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A commercial, practical and solutions-focused approach
• The confidence to work directly with senior clients and stakeholders
• A hands-on approach and willingness to remain involved in client work
• The ambition and capability to progress toward Partnership

Experience using Xero and MYOB would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain a police clearance.
