Job summary

Macquarie Group's Risk Management Group is seeking an experienced compliance professional to support Macquarie Asset Management's regulatory program across Australia and New Zealand. You will provide regulatory advice and help manage compliance activities, working with business leaders, regulators and risk colleagues to promote sound governance.

You will contribute to monitoring, reporting, training and policy development, applying strong attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in economics, commerce, law, finance or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in a compliance, risk or legal role within funds management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to apply compliance risk management principles in Australia.

In this role you will support the Macquarie Asset Management Business Compliance team by providing advice on regulatory matters and helping to manage compliance activities across the business. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, including business leaders, regulators and risk colleagues, while contributing to compliance monitoring, reporting, training and policy development.

• Tertiary qualification in Economics, Commerce, Law, Finance or a related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in a compliance, risk or legal role within a funds management business.

• Ability to review regulatory matters, assess incidents, manage enquiries and support compliance monitoring and reporting activities.
