• Minimum of 12 months experience in major trauma required.
• Experience coordinating care through the major trauma pathway and ED.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage trauma patients according to protocols.
• Lead daily trauma ward rounds and perform tertiary surveys.
• Coordinate with regional trauma units to optimise patient flow.
• Act as senior nurse for trauma team calls when on duty.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance within the trauma MDT.
• Ensure high-quality care and contribute to trauma service development.
• Escalate operational issues related to access/capacity promptly.
• Engage with patients and families to address needs and provide support.
