Job summary

Ellerslie Farms Group is seeking a Maintenance Workshop Supervisor to oversee our workshop, lead a team of fitters, boiler makers and apprentices, and coordinate maintenance tasks to ensure safe, efficient operation and on-time completion.

You will manage preventive and remedial maintenance, maintain records, and uphold safety standards while supporting our poultry farm operations in Millmerran, Queensland. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent).
• Experience in maintenance, fitting, and workshop operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the Maintenance Team across all sites.
• Plan, schedule and allocate maintenance and repair work.
• Carry out hands-on fitting, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all workshop activities.
• Manage workshop inventory, tooling and parts and maintain records.
