Job summary

Macmahon Holdings Limited in Moranbah, QLD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance crews and ensure planned and breakdown maintenance is executed safely, maximizing equipment reliability and availability. You will work with planning and HSEQT teams to drive maintenance excellence, compliance and continuous improvement, coaching and developing your team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience supervising maintenance teams within an open-cut mining environment.
• Strong communication and people leadership skills; builds positive relationships and drives accountability.
• Sound planning, troubleshooting and decision-making with focus on equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership, risk management, statutory compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance crews to safely execute planned and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance, reliability and availability to maximise fleet utilisation and minimise downtime.
• Ensure maintenance work orders and schedules are completed efficiently and in line with site requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and the effective operation, maintenance and care of mobile plant and equipment.
• Support maintenance planning, scheduling and defect management processes to achieve operational objectives.
• Coach and develop team members, drive accountability, and foster a culture of respect, performance and continuous improvement.
