Fortescue is seeking a high-calibre Senior Maintenance Planner for Hedland operations. You will lead the site maintenance planning team, embed best-practice planning standards and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will ensure maintenance work scopes are resourced, execution-ready and aligned to priorities through disciplined Work Management Processes, partnering with maintenance, shutdown and operations leaders to enable safe, reliable plant operations.

Competenze

• Significant experience in mining process plant maintenance planning.
• Strong technical understanding of fixed plant mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a maintenance planning or reliability environment, including the ability to mentor and uplift team performance.
• Australian-recognised Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification.
• Certificate IV in Maintenance or Asset Management (desirable).
• Advanced working knowledge of SAP CMMS, MS Office Suite and MS Project, with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at all levels.

Fortescue is seeking a high-calibre Senior Maintenance Planner to provide strong people leadership and functional direction across our Port Hedland operations. In this key leadership role, you will be accountable for leading and developing the site maintenance planning team, embedding best-practice planning standards, and driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. You will ensure all maintenance work scopes are fully resourced, execution-ready and aligned to operational priorities through disciplined application of the Work Management Processes. Working in close partnership with maintenance, shutdown and operations leaders, you will play a central role in enabling safe, reliable and high-performing plant operations. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape capability, uplift planning performance and directly influence asset reliability outcomes across site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the maintenance planning team, building capability, succession and technical depth while setting clear expectations and performance standards.
• Provide oversight and governance of the Work Management Processes to ensure consistent, high-quality planning outputs.
• Drive effective backlog and forward log management, work prioritisation and schedule optimisation.
• Optimise fixed plant maintenance strategies to maximise plant availability and reliability.
• Monitor planning KPIs and implement improvement initiatives to enhance planning effectiveness and execution reliability.
• Champion safety, quality and compliance across planned work scopes, and collaborate with maintenance, operations, contractors and stakeholders to ensure work is aligned, achievable and properly resourced.

Qualifications And Experience
