A leading mainframe service provider in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Mainframe Db2 Application Database Administrator to manage high-availability database solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of Db2 DBA experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and will work closely with development teams. Must be an Australian citizen and possess Baseline Government clearance. This full-time position involves both on-site and remote work. Competitive package offered.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience in a Db2 application DBA role.
• High level of problem determination skills.
• Experience with Db2 Data Sharing.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the Db2 application database environment on the z/OS platform.
• Manage the architecture of Db2 database including integrity and recovery.
• Work closely with application developers to deploy Db2 changes.
