Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a skilled IT administrator to support a fast-growing Cloud/Managed Services team in Melbourne. You will manage end-user devices across Windows and macOS, administer Intune and Entra ID, and optimise the Microsoft 365 suite to ensure reliable end-user experiences.

You will also handle Azure Virtual Desktop, PowerShell automation, ServiceNow ticketing, and provide hybrid work flexibility with onsite and client-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Proven ability to manage Intune endpoint configurations and Autopilot provisioning.
• Strong familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop and hybrid identity setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (Windows/macOS).
• Manage Windows patching and security updates using Intune.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Configure and enforce identity and access with Entra ID (CA, MFA, SSO, PIM).
• Oversee Intune device enrolment, profiles, and compliance policies across platforms.
• Maintain Azure Virtual Desktop hosting, images, and FSLogix profiles.
• Log, triage, and resolve incidents via ServiceNow, meeting SLAs.

Job description

• Provide support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals across Windows and macOS.
• Manage and maintain Windows patch compliance across end-user devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring timely deployment of security and feature updates in line with organisational policy.
• Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 suite - Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive, ensuring service reliability and a seamless end-user experience.
• Manage identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID: configure Conditional Access policies, SSO integrations, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Own the Intune endpoint management lifecycle - device enrolment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployment, and Autopilot provisioning across Windows and mobile platforms.
• Deploy and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments: manage host pools, session hosts, FSLogix profile containers, and golden images.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow, meeting SLA targets and driving root-cause resolution.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365 - Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft 365 tenant administration via Admin Centre and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID: Conditional Access, MFA, SSO integrations, Privileged Identity Management, and hybrid identity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and compliance - MDM/MAM policies, Windows Autopilot, app lifecycle management, and configuration profiles.
• Solid understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop: host pool management, FSLogix profile containers, session host administration, and image management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for incident, request & change management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS and enterprise applications; macOS and JAMF experience advantageous.
• Experience working in a Managed Services Provider desirable.
• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-102, AZ-140, or SC-300 are highly regarded.
