Abercrombie & Kent in Australia seeks a senior travel operations leader to drive the development, financial performance and delivery of tour series programs. You will own end-to-end planning, pricing, and execution, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial viability and exceptional client outcomes.

The role leads a team, guides product selection, and champions continuous improvement, operational excellence and seamless service across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the travel industry, including leadership or management.
• Proven ability to develop and implement group tour series programs.
• Strong supplier relationship management, negotiation and contracting skills.
• Excellent communications skills – written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lead or mentor a team and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee tour series operations including inventory, flight arrangements, staffing and guest documentation.
• Monitor operations and manage changes, risks and service delivery to minimise disruption.
• Prepare quotations for third-party tour series opportunities with accurate pricing.
• Lead product selection with stakeholders to ensure viability and client alignment.
• Maintain tour costings and brochure information to support profitability.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of tour series programs from inception through completion.
• Act as primary contact for operational matters and escalation on tour series files.
• Manage a team and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
