Job summary

KOJO Sport in Melbourne is seeking a senior Live Broadcast Graphics Designer/Artist to shape the on-screen graphics audiences see across live sport and events. You’ll blend creative design with broadcast tech, delivering end-to-end graphics packages, and mentoring peers to raise the team’s capability.

Key focus includes building Ross XPression graphics, defining standards, and ensuring flawless live delivery under tight deadlines. Travel to events and on-site support may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong relevant experience within live events, sport, entertainment or broadcast.
• Strong experience with Ross XPression and broadcast graphics systems.
• Advanced proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Dashboard and scripting.
• Experience building, implementing and operating graphics packages.
• Experience with asset management systems and content workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, build and deliver Ross XPression graphics packages, including on-site implementation, operation and training.
• Lead the development of consistent XPression standards and ways of working across KOJO graphics projects.
• Train and mentor team members in XPression graphics and content workflows.
• Help develop the “KOJO Way” for graphics delivery across our sports portfolio.
• Oversee and improve content ingestion and management processes across our Sports Presentation deliveries.
• Help establish and evolve scoreboard layout best practices.
• Work collaboratively across Graphics, Sports Presentation, Creative, Technical and Content Production teams.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, systems and processes across markets.
• Provide remote and on-site support to ensure smooth event delivery.
• Perform game-day roles where required and help deliver exceptional live sporting experiences.
