Job summary

Whizdom is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator SME to support a major Canberra client engagement. The role is hands-on staff augmentation, delivering expert Red Hat system administration and automation capabilities under client direction.

The successful candidate will contribute specialist technical expertise across infrastructure automation, configuration, and scripting, working directly for the client in Canberra for approximately 12 months.

Qualifications

• Red Hat certification or equivalent expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (or AAP).
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver system administration services as a subject-matter expert.
• Support the client's operational and project requirements.
• Work directly under the direction of the client.
