Job summary

Powerplant Project Services seeks a Senior Project Engineer in Lighting Design to own the client relationship and the technical solution across projects from design through handover. You will manage the client’s technical solution, all project stakeholders, approvals, and design submissions to network authorities.

You will also provide enhanced oversight of the team’s performance, coach and mentor Project Engineers, and drive continuous improvement in design quality, automation, and process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in VESI electrical designs.
• Experience with Lighting Design standards and approvals.
• Proven ability to own client relationships and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own the client’s technical solution and manage approvals.
• Lead design safety, schedule, quality and team performance.
• Coach and mentor Project Engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Interface with other Powerplant teams to deliver projects.
• Conduct design reviews including QA and senior reviews.
• Ensure financial performance of project delivery.
