Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in litigation and disputes to join an international financial services business on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This dedicated disputes role sits within a high performing legal team alongside another Senior Legal Counsel.

The role requires handling a range of litigation, coordinating with external firms, and delivering practical, commercially focused advice to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong litigation and disputes experience.
• Excellent technical legal skills and sound judgement.
• A practical and commercial approach to legal advice.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• In-house experience is preferred, however strong private practice candidates will also be considered. Financial services experience would be highly relevant.

About you

We are looking for a technically strong litigation/disputes lawyer who is commercial, pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will have:

• Strong litigation and disputes experience
• Excellent technical legal skills and sound judgement
• A practical and commercial approach to legal advice
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• In-house experience is preferred, however strong private practice candidates will also be considered. Financial services experience would be highly relevant.

12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave

Full-time but would consider part-time candidates (4 days per week)

5 days per week in the office with ad hoc wfh
