Job summary

Lawyers On Demand (LOD) is seeking experienced Energy & Resources lawyers to join its team and commence their LOD journey. You will advise on land access, native title, heritage, and tenure, and handle social-licensing related resources work alongside drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of resource-related agreements.

You may also engage in corporate and transactional work, including capital raisings and ASX-related matters, depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• At least 3–15 years PQE in private practice and/or in-house roles, ideally in mining/resources/energy/infrastructure.
• Interest in commercial contracting, projects, native title, land access or corporate transactions in resources.
• Be client centric, commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running.
• Enjoy partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support clients across mining and resources matters with practical legal advice.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial resources agreements (JV, royalty, OS, haulage, SPAs).
• Contribute to corporate and transactional work including capital raisings and ASX matters.
