Sharon AI, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel in Australia to support AI infrastructure growth across data centre and energy partnerships. You’ll draft and negotiate broad commercial contracts, advise commercial and tech teams, and help structure financing and transactions with the Chief Legal Officer.
The role requires hands-on drafting and strong business acumen in a fast‑growing, technically complex environment.
Sharon AI is an Australian neocloud, delivering trusted AI infrastructure organisations need to build, train and run AI at scale. We support customers across the full AI lifecycle, from training through to inference and agentic AI, drawing on a strong ecosystem of technology and co-location partners to deliver capability where it's needed. As the first neocloud to join NVIDIA's AI Compute Program, we're growing quickly, scaling our AI Factory platform to meet rising demand for advanced compute.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel at approximately 7 to 8 years' PQE, with top-tier or large commercial law firm training and meaningful in-house experience, ideally in sectors where technology meets physical infrastructure, such as data, AI, energy or construction projects.
We are interested in hearing from lawyers who have been hands‑on with technology, data centre, infrastructure and platform contracting, ideally in a high‑growth or product‑led business. Any data privacy exposure, project finance and/or energy law background is highly regarded.
You'll be a highly capable commercial lawyer, able to work closely with Sales, Business Development, Procurement, Finance and technical teams to support Sharon AI's continued growth across AI infrastructure, energy partnerships and data centre operations. This is a hands‑on role suited to a lawyer who is commercially minded and comfortable operating without a large legal team. You'll be a confident drafter and negotiator who enjoys partnering closely with commercial and technical stakeholders in a fast‑growing, technically complex environment.
