GWA Group in North Sydney seeks a Senior Legal Counsel on a 4-day-per-week, part-time basis to partner with the Company Secretary & General Counsel. You’ll advise across corporate, commercial, governance, regulatory and strategic matters, helping the business navigate risk while enabling growth in an ASX-listed environment.

You’ll bring Australian admission, 5+ years’ post-admission experience, strong commercial acumen, and robust stakeholder management, with in-house or top-tier firm background

GWA is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our North Sydney team on a part-time (4 days per week) basis and partner closely with our Company Secretary & General Counsel. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide trusted legal advice across a wide range of corporate, commercial, governance, regulatory and strategic matters, helping the business navigate risk while enabling growth and innovation.

About You

You’ll be an Australian-admitted lawyer with 5+ years’ post-admission experience , gained in-house, within a top-tier firm, or another sophisticated legal environment. You will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice that supports business outcomes. Experience within an ASX-listed environment, governance, compliance or company secretarial matters will be highly regarded.
