The University of Tasmania invites applications for an experienced psychologist to join the School of Psychological Sciences as a Senior Lecturer. You will teach and supervise across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, contribute to curriculum development and professional practice education, and collaborate with industry partners to meet accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology or equivalent is required.
• Current registration as a psychologist with AHPRA with no reprimands, undertakings or conditions.
• WWVP Working with Vulnerable People clearance is required.
• Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor status is desirable.
• Demonstrated success in university teaching and learning.
• Familiarity with APAC accreditation standards and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs.
• Provide supervision and support for students on professional practice placements.
• Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation processes.
• Undertake and disseminate high-quality research and supervise HDR students.
• Build partnerships with the profession, health services and community stakeholders.
