Job summary

TAFE SA is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Nursing to deliver high‑quality teaching, provide leadership, and coordinate programs across South Australia. The role requires Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse and substantial clinical experience, plus a background in nursing education and industry collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or higher with current Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least five years’ clinical experience.
• Proven experience teaching and assessing nursing or related health education programs in tertiary or VET settings.
• Experience in health-sector education, coaching and mentoring others, and collaborating with industry across the healthcare continuum.

What Makes this Role Exciting

A Senior Lecturer is expected to demonstrate high level of skills in the delivery of education, leadership and program coordination, with a focus on quality teaching and learning.

Are You the One?

• Bachelor of Nursing or higher qualification, with current Ahpra registration as a Registered Nurse and at least five years’ clinical experience.
• Current nursing knowledge and recent clinical experience, including working with Enrolled Nurses and supporting student Enrolled Nurses in clinical environments.
• Proven experience teaching and assessing nursing or related health education programs in tertiary or VET settings.
• Experience in health-sector education, coaching and mentoring others, and collaborating with industry across the healthcare continuum.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
