Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Lecturer/Course Coordinator to join our dynamic team at AIBI Higher Education. In this full-time role based in Perth, WA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of our tertiary-level education programs, with a focus on teaching and coordinating courses in the fields of business intelligence, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.

About the role

Delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate students

  • Developing and coordinating course content, learning materials and assessment tasks
  • Providing academic support and mentoring to students to ensure their success
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our business intelligence curriculum
  • Participating in the Institute's research activities and publishing scholarly works
  • Collaborating with academic staff and industry partners to enhance the student experience
  • Undertaking administrative duties related to course coordination and student management

What we're looking for

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as business, information technology, digital transformation or cyber security
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tertiary-level teaching, preferably in the area of business intelligence or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years in academic governance and student management
  • Minimum of 2 years in course coordination and leadership
  • Strong subject matter expertise and a deep understanding of current trends and best practices in business intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive and student-centred learning experiences
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of contributing to curriculum development and academic research
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
