Job summary

Central Innovation seeks a Senior Lean Manufacturing Systems Consultant to deliver manufacturing consulting, Lean transformation and systems advisory services to ANZ design, engineering and manufacturing businesses. The role combines consulting, client advisory and commercial development, with responsibility for identifying, scoping and selling consulting projects and professional services engagements.

Qualifications

• Essential: Significant practical experience in manufacturing operations.
• Essential: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Essential: Demonstrated Lean / continuous improvement experience.
• Essential: Experience conducting operational assessments and process improvement projects.
• Essential: Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, software and other related products.
• Essential: Strong understanding of planning, procurement, inventory and production.
• Essential: Practical understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Essential: Experience working directly with manufacturing business owners and senior executives.
• Essential: Demonstrated consulting or professional services experience.
• Essential: Ability to scope and sell consulting services.
• Essential: Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational assessments and diagnostics to identify measurable improvements.
• Analyse end-to-end processes from sales through dispatch.
• Map current-state processes and information flows.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks and constraints.
• Conduct root cause analysis and quantify impact.
• Develop recommendations and improvement roadmaps.
• Design and deliver Lean engagements including value-stream mapping and process redesign.
• Identify and sell consulting opportunities.
• Develop relationships with senior stakeholders.
