Job summary

Suncoast Christian College is seeking an experienced Head of Secondary Learning Support to lead the Secondary Learning Support team from January 2027. This full-time role focuses on inclusive education and leading a collaborative team across Years 7–12.

You will drive targeted learning programs, advocate for students with diverse needs and work closely with teachers, families and school leaders to ensure effective interventions and adjustments are in place.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a learning support team.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and wellbeing.
• Ability to develop and implement targeted learning plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Secondary Learning Support function for Years 7–12, ensuring appropriate support.
• Coordinate Learning Support staff, rosters and daily activities.
• Oversee AARA, NAPLAN adjustments and NCCD processes; liaise with families and staff.
